While the sources of conflict are diverse and complex, the teachings of Jesus Christ offer a timeless and profound framework for understanding and resolving them. The Bible emphasizes that God commands and expects us to resolve conflicts, no matter the challenge, situation, or circumstance, following His divine guidance and the example of Jesus.

From ancient tribal wars to modern-day political disputes, disagreements and clashes have shaped civilizations and defined eras. The Bible itself is replete with accounts of conflict, from the story of Cain and Abel to the internal struggles of the Israelites. Loving our enemies does not mean condoning their actions or ignoring the harm they have caused. Rather, it means recognizing their inherent humanity and treating them with respect and compassion. Can a virgin conceive without a man's seed (sperm)?

To grasp the reality behind the often misunderstood and debated "Virgin Birth" of Jesus, and the claim that Mary became pregnant by the Holy Spirit rather than through her husband Joseph, we need to address several key questions:

1. Why wasn't Eve, the first woman, who gave birth to humanity's first male child, created before Adam with her husband's seed?

 

2. Why didn’t Eve experience a "Virgin Birth" when giving birth to her first son, Cain, if she was formed from Adam?

 

3. If a woman could become pregnant without a man’s involvement, why did God create man at all?

4. Why didn't God simply create one human—a woman—capable of bearing children solely through His Holy Spirit?

 

5. Why did God command Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply?

 

Note: This implies they shared a sexual relationship, leading to Eve’s pregnancies and childbirth through natural means.

  

6. Why has humanity continued reproducing through sexual intercourse as instructed?

 

7. Wasn’t Adam, the first man, crucial for existence?

 

Note: Without Adam's creation, there would be no need for a companion in Eve, leading to the absence of subsequent human generations, including Jesus.

 

Without Adam and Eve, there would be no descendants, no lineage, no savior, and no Bible to record these events.

 

While God could have endlessly forgiven humanity's sins or continually recreated mankind, He chose not to. His original plan for humanity's creation and procreation remains the best and most perfect design. This plan involves a (married) man and woman coming together through sexual union, following the natural process to conceive and nurture life.

Have Faith In God!

It’s important to understand that God will, and often must, test our faith. These trials serve to strengthen our faith, prepare us for His work and eternal kingdom, and reveal what lies within us—be it in our hearts, minds, bodies, or souls. This process may uncover truths we are unaware of, truths we may be denying, avoiding, or hiding from ourselves and others. These revelations often point out areas in our lives where change is necessary. We may need to:

- Transform aspects of ourselves  

- Let go of harmful habits  

- Strive for improvement  

- Replace certain behaviors  

- Repair what is broken  

- Acknowledge reality  

- Bring hidden truths to light  

- Accept responsibility  

- Confess mistakes 

- Confront and embrace the truth  

- Or even share our struggles and discoveries with someone else—or with God Himself.  

It doesn’t matter if what we’re dealing with is good or bad, right or wrong, sinful or pure, truthful or deceitful, lawful or illicit, public or private, comforting or painful. 

Sometimes, we encounter what can be called God’s "Silent Seasons." These are moments when we pray endlessly, yearning for answers, patiently waiting for what seems like an eternity. Yet, during this time, God doesn't respond in the way we want, expect, or even desperately need Him to. These silent seasons can be especially difficult when we feel like we’ve hit rock bottom, face emergencies, or sense that our faith has dwindled to less than a mustard seed. In those critical moments, when all hope seems lost and we urgently cry out for a miracle to save us, it can feel as though God is quiet.

But take heart and find encouragement in knowing this: you are not alone. You are not the only one who has faced the silence of God. In fact, everyone—believers and nonbelievers alike—will experience these periods at some point in their lives. It’s during these times of trial that we must hold on to our faith, even when it feels fragile or fleeting. Remember, His silence doesn’t mean absence—it is often through these very seasons that He molds us, strengthens us, and prepares us for something greater.

God doesn't inflict suffering, poverty, crime, hunger, hate, or any of the evils in the world—we do. As humans, we close our minds, hearts, and eyes to these issues due to indifference, fear, or because it doesn't affect us or our loved ones directly. We only realize they're problems when they touch us personally or someone we know needs help. Eventually, we all will require assistance in some way.

 

We can all contribute to helping others, even without financial means:

- Offer your time, skills, talent, or resources;

 

- Assist others in finding emergency housing, food, work, etc.;

 

- Spread awareness of those in need;

 

- Obtain, create or give out listings of local support services; 

 

- Pray for those in need or seeking God's help and blessings;

 

- Support nonprofit organizations aiding the homeless;

 

- Advocate for laws that assist the homeless and marginalized;

 

- Volunteer actively without merely endorsing homelessness;

 

- Help those who are homeless, unemployed, or in need;

 

- Donate clothing, food, shelter, or resources in exchange for work.

 

We can indeed make a difference in others' lives and the world if we care enough to act. By understanding and showing empathy, we can channel God's love and blessings to those in need. Amen. 

 

Our world is in a state of disorder and decline because of selfishness, greed, sinfulness, hatred, and judgment from those who care only for themselves. This mindset must change for the world to improve. As a wise activist once said:

 

"We must become the change we desire to see in the world." –Mahatma Gandhi

 

This means that if we don't change for the better, the world won't either, for "We are the world," as emphasized by the song of the same name. Listen to its message to confirm this truth.
